VANCOUVER -- With the 99th Grey Cup in Vancouver just over eight months away CFL.ca caught up with Scott Ackles, the General Manager of the 2011 Grey Cup Festival, for an update.

In the interview Ackles outlines many of the festival committee's plans for the week and details where many of the festival activities will take place. He also discusses the renovation of BC Place, the home of the 99th Grey Cup, which is slated to re-open on September 30th when the BC Lions play host to the Edmonton Eskimos.

As for ticket sales for the game, Ackles says they have been outstanding so far with over 22,000 sold and fully expects a quick sellout once tickets go on sale to the public.
